Security & Compliance

Flow · Security & Compliance

Managed detection with a human on the other end, and compliance kept current all year.

Managed security puts detection on every endpoint and mailbox and hands the alerts to analysts (ours and Arctic Wolf’s) at any hour. Compliance-as-a-Service takes the HIPAA or SOC 2 program off your desk and keeps the evidence current, so the audit is a review of work already done.

What usually prompts the call

The two services

Compliance-as-a-Service

We run the program on a calendar: gap assessment, then policies written for how your office works, then controls with evidence collected as work happens. When the auditor shows up, the folder’s already full.

  • Gap assessment and roadmap for your framework
  • Policies written for your business
  • Controls monitored, evidence collected
  • Security awareness training and phishing tests
  • Auditor liaison and remediation tracking

Managed Security (MDR/XDR)

Detection and response across endpoints, identities, email, and cloud, 24/7, built on Arctic Wolf and Trend Micro. A security operations center sits behind every alert, with a human deciding whether to isolate the machine.

  • EDR agent on every workstation and server
  • Sign-in and mailbox monitoring for compromised accounts
  • Investigation and containment at any hour
  • Vulnerability scans, with patches ranked by what’s exposed
  • Incident reports you can forward to your insurer

What the first quarter looks like

01 Assess

What you have versus the framework you need, gaps ranked by risk. A missing MFA policy comes before a missing visitor log.

02 Deploy and document

Agents go out to every device and each control gets a named owner. Evidence collection starts that week.

03 Operate

Alerts get worked as they come in. Patching and training run on a calendar you can see.

04 Prove

A quarterly status against the framework and an evidence package, so when a customer asks you send a document.

Common questions

Nobody honest can promise an auditor’s opinion. What we can do is close the gaps and keep the evidence current, then sit in the room when the auditor has technical questions.

HIPAA, SOC 2 (Type I and II readiness), PCI DSS, and ISO 27001, plus the cyber-insurance renewal questionnaire, which comes up most often.

Essentials includes security monitoring and patching. Full MDR and compliance support come with Professional and Enterprise, or can be bolted onto Essentials.
