Vision — Strategic IT Partnerships
Long-term IT leadership without hiring a CIO.
Vision is what you talk to us about when the question is bigger than a ticket: what to spend next year, which vendor to trust, who answers when a nurse can’t log in at 2 a.m. You get a fractional CIO in your leadership meetings, plus the support desks and communications platform that person ends up responsible for. Most companies on Vision run Flow underneath it.
Who calls about Vision
- Technology decisions land on the CFO's desk, and the CFO would rather they didn't
- A funding round or an acquisition is coming and due diligence has an IT section
- Leadership keeps reacting to whatever broke last and wants a plan tied to the budget
- Your staff work nights and weekends and the help desk doesn't
- You've got several IT vendors and an RFP to run, and nobody's run one before
The four categories
Each one is an ongoing service with its own responsibilities and a monthly report.
Employee Support & Lifecycle
A support desk your staff can reach on a night shift, and a joiner-leaver process that runs off the HR trigger, so access is gone the day someone leaves.
- 24/7 Employee Support Desk
- Employee Onboarding & Offboarding
Corporate IT Management
A virtual CIO who keeps the roadmap and the vendor list, plus monitoring so the plan is built on what the servers are doing.
- Infrastructure Monitoring
- Virtual CIO (vCIO) Consulting
Customer Support On-Call
A technical desk for your customers, and incident response when the platform they pay for goes down.
- Incident Response
- Outsourced Call Center IT Support
Email & Communications
Hosted email that reaches the inbox, plus cloud phones and a contact center on one platform. We’re an 8
- Hosted Email Services
- Unified Communications
What the first few months look like
01 Discovery call
Where the business is going and what's been going wrong, and who signed off on the last big purchase.
02 IT Health Check & roadmap
A documented audit, then a 12-month roadmap with a budget and a 90-day plan for the first stretch.
03 We run it month by month
Monthly advisory and vendor oversight, with any desks or platforms you've added reported against the roadmap.
04 Quarterly business reviews
A sit-down with your executives to compare the roadmap with what happened, then plan the next 90 days.
Where Vision fits
What Vision covers
- The leadership layer: roadmaps, budgets, vendor contracts, RFPs
- Support desks for your employees and for your customers, plus onboarding and offboarding
- Hosted email and unified communications, designed and then supported by the same people
- Working alongside your internal IT team or your existing provider, when you have one
What we leave to Speed and Flow
- Break-fix and one-off projects (that's Speed)
- Patching and backups, plus the daily security work (that's Flow)
- A report that gets filed and never opened again
- Making your decisions for you (we lay out the options and carry out the one leadership picks)
The three engagements
A one-time audit or a monthly retainer. Pricing is confirmed after a scoping call.
IT Health Check & Audit
A paid, documented review of your infrastructure and security posture, the software you pay for, the contracts you’re in, and the compliance gaps a reviewer would find, ending in a 90-day action plan.
- Infrastructure audit, documented as we go
- Security and compliance gap analysis
- Contract and vendor review
- Prioritized 90-day action plan and budget estimate
Vision Advisory
A named advisor meets with your leadership every month to work through strategy and whatever decisions are on the table, and stays on call between sessions.
- Monthly strategy session and roadmap review
- Contract and vendor guidance, including RFPs
- Compliance and security posture oversight
- Budget planning and purchasing help
Vision Leadership
For companies that want the CIO in the room. Someone from Moonscape attends your leadership meetings and owns the roadmap and the vendor relationships, and answers when an auditor asks who’s responsible for security.
- Embedded IT leadership and board-level reporting
- Ownership of every vendor and contract
- Compliance and security risk, owned month to month
- Support desks and communications under the same agreement
Vision FAQ
What does Vision include?
The advisory side is a fractional CIO: strategy and roadmaps, compliance planning, vendor and RFP management, policies, staff training, quarterly reviews. The support desks and the communications services are priced separately.
How is Vision different from Flow or Speed?
Speed is work you order one job at a time. Flow is the monthly operations plan: monitoring, patching, the helpdesk. Vision is the leadership layer above both, plus the people-heavy services. They stack.
Do we need to already have IT support to use Vision?
Vision runs on its own or alongside whoever handles your daily IT, an internal team or another MSP. Plenty of companies use it for strategy while their own people run the day to day.
What does the IT Health Check & Audit include?
A documented review of the environment: infrastructure, security posture, software stack, vendor contracts, compliance gaps. It ends in a prioritized 90-day plan. The free website Health Check is a lighter version.
Ready to put a plan behind the IT budget?
Start with a discovery call or the free IT Health Check. Both end with a concrete next step.
