Speed — Fast IT Solutions
An engineer when you need one, without a managed contract.
Speed is how you get technical work done without signing up for a monthly plan. You send us the job (a migration, a new office, a laptop that won’t boot) and we scope it, do it, and send you notes on what changed. Most of it happens remotely. When someone needs to be in the building, we drive.
Who this suits
- In-house IT teams that need a second bench for a rollout or to clear a ticket backlog
- Start-ups that would rather pay for hours than commit to a plan before there's much to manage
- Anyone with a one-off project: a new office, new Wi-Fi, a batch of laptops, a fresh Microsoft 365 tenant
- A business with something broken today that can't wait for a sales cycle
- Home offices that want an engineer by the hour
What Speed covers
Three categories. Each page says what’s included, so you know what you’re asking for.
Installations
Whatever arrived in boxes: workstations, a server, a rack of switches, the printer nobody wants to set up. We image it and join it to your tenant, and it’s working when we leave.
- Hardware & software installation
- Network & Wi-Fi setup
Setup & Onboarding
New cloud tenants configured with sensible security, mail and files moved without losing anything, and laptops that are ready before the new hire arrives.
- Cloud account setup
- Data migration
- Device onboarding
Technical Support
Troubleshooting by people who’ll tell you what they found, remotely or at your desk. Malware cleanup lives here too.
- Remote IT helpdesk
- On-site IT support
- Virus & malware removal
What happens after you call
01 You describe the job
By email, through the form, or on the phone. A couple of sentences is plenty to start.
02 We scope it
Before we touch anything, you'll know what we're going to do and how it's billed, plus a rough idea of how long it takes.
03 We do the work
Remotely where possible. On site when hands are needed. The same engineer sees it through where we can.
04 You get notes
What we did and what we found along the way. If we spotted something worth fixing next, that goes in too.
Where Speed stops and Flow starts
Speed covers
- Work you ask for, when you ask for it
- Scoped jobs with notes at the end
- Businesses with an IT team and businesses without one
- A way to try us before committing to a plan
Speed doesn't cover
- Watching your systems between requests, or scheduled patching
- Managed security operations, backup management, disaster recovery
- Owning your compliance program
- Regular strategy reviews (those are Flow and Vision)
How Speed is billed
Three options. We confirm the rate after a short scoping call and put it in the proposal.
Prepaid Hour Blocks
Buy hours in advance and use them for incidents, rollouts, onboarding, migrations, or project work.
- 10-hour block for occasional needs and small projects
- 20-hour block if you call often or have a project running
- Priority scheduling while the block is active
- Notes after every request
- After-hours work available on request
Speed Retainer
Included hours each month and faster dispatch, for businesses that want consistent priority without moving to managed IT.
- 20 reactive support hours a month
- Add more in 10-hour blocks whenever you need them
- Priority scheduling all month
- Still reactive: the retainer doesn't include monitoring or patching, or security operations
Residential Hourly
Remote or in-person help by the hour for troubleshooting, setups, Wi-Fi trouble, slow machines, and malware cleanup.
- Billed hourly, tracked in 15-minute increments
- Three-hour minimum for a site visit
- After-hours available on request
Speed FAQ
Do you offer remote support?
Remote is faster for almost everything, so that’s where we start. If a switch needs replacing or a printer needs a human, we come out. Boca Raton and most of South Florida is a same-week trip, often same-day.
Can Speed help with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace?
Tenant setup, migrations, licensing cleanup, security baselines, and the everyday configuration questions are all Speed work. See Cloud account setup under Setup & Onboarding.
Can we use Speed alongside our own IT staff?
That’s probably its most common use. We’ll work from your ticketing system or ours, leave notes your team can follow, and stay out of anything you haven’t handed over.
Can you manage our IT long-term?
Speed is on-demand by design. If you want us watching the environment between calls, with patching, security, backups, and compliance handled, that’s Moonscape Flow.
Need more than Speed?
If you’d rather nobody had to notice a problem before it gets fixed, Flow adds monitoring, security, backups, and compliance on a monthly subscription.
